JST Interview

The interview felt surreal for me. It felt so short, I totally thought "This is it? Does this mean I'm doing bad?" inside the room.

But still, the questions was tough -- though not in the way I anticipated it to be.

And I got the million dollar question. The final question I knew may come at the end of the interview but really is not something I want to answer and thus not something I prepared an answer for.

This is a prestigious scholarship. This year, 5300 people applied, 621 interviewed, and only 300 will get the scholarship. The question is, why should we choose you among the others?
My answer had two parts in it. The first one is okay, but the second got me thinking for days. I felt bad, in between burdened and disliking myself for bluffing.

Until I realized that what I actually said wasn't what I thought I said.

Hahahah.. When I remembered that the second part in my answer started with "I have proven that.." I was very relieved. Now I do truly believe in everything I said during the interview. Alhamdulillah.
